I qualified with a BSc. physiotherapy from UCT in 2011 and after completing my community service year in Port Elizabeth, I joined a private practice in Claremont working at Life Kingsbury hospital. I completed my Masters degree in physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University in 2016. I have a keen passion for rehabilitation, with particular interest in pulmonary rehabilitation (for lung conditions), post- limb amputation rehabilitation and post- lower limb injury/surgery rehabilitation.
In this practice, I have created an environment in which people can come and recover; find the joy in movement again; and take charge of their own rehabilitation, to ensure a real improvement in quality of life.
I am a firm believer in the power of the human body and movement; and I have a passion and desire to help others find this in themselves. I am also a keen academic and enjoy learning and challenging myself and for me, practicing evidence-based physiotherapy is very important.
I strive to provide the best possible care for all my clients with the goal of restoring movement, empowering each client and improving their quality of life.
